What does the child learn?

In this course, the child will learn the basics of programming, variables, functions, cycles and conditions. He will also study coordinates and simple mathematical operations.

Trial lesson

  1. Introduction to the development environment and exploring its capabilities.
  2. Familiarity with the concept of coordinates and the practice of working with them.

Module 1

  1. Applying knowledge about coordinates to construct objects.
  2. Work with negative numbers and use them in coordinates.
  3. Practical use of coordinates in creating game objects.
  4. Familiarization with new commands to optimize programming.
  5. A creative task to create game objects using coordinates.
  6. Project work that includes the use of all the studied commands and concepts related to coordinates.
  7. Exploring the concept of a cycle, including infinite and finite cycles.

Module 2

  1. A practical task to consolidate work with cycles.
  2. Introduction to arithmetic operators and comparison operators for performing complex calculations.
  3. Analysis of someone else's code, detection and correction of errors.
  4. Practical tasks for working with random variables and the use of the operators studied.
  5. Project work, including the use of the studied cycles and operators.

Module 3

  1. Exploring the concept of a condition and its use in code.
  2. Selection of logical expressions in accordance with the task.
  3. The task is to apply conditions to strengthen the knowledge gained.
  4. Familiarization with the if - else construct.
  5. Working with embedded conditional structures.
  6. Implementation of project work, including the use of the studied cycles and conditions.
  7. Analysis of a new type of cycle - a cycle with a condition.

Module 4

  1. Using a conditional cycle to create a mini-game.
  2. Starting work on a project on the topic “Cycles with conditions”, using all previously studied commands.
  3. Finishing the project by applying knowledge about cycles with conditions.
  4. Getting to know the concept of “variable”, fixing bugs in someone else's code.
  5. Using variables to store coordinates.
  6. Using a variable as a counter within a loop.
  7. Completing the task of using variables to consolidate the knowledge gained.
